One of hip-hop's most celebrated festivals is crossing the Atlantic for the first time. Roots Picnic makes its UK debut at Crystal Palace Bowl on 8-9 August 2026, bringing an all star lineup of hip hop, soul and R&B legends to London.
Day one will be headlined by Nas & The Roots, who'll deliver a special two hour collaborative set. The Saturday bill also includes Sasha Keable, Nia Smith, and J.PERIOD's acclaimed Live Mixtape featuring Black Thought, Yasiin Bey and Benny The Butcher. Sunday shifts the focus towards neo-soul and R&B, with a special Sunday Jam led by Robert Glasper & Questlove, joined by Common and Bilal, before Grammy-winning singer Anthony Hamilton closes the festival.
Both Anthony Hamilton and Floetry will be making their first UK appearances in more than a decade. Roots Picnic will be bringing its legendary sound to Crystal Palace Bowl as part of Palace Bowl Presents, a new festival series running from 31 July to 16 August. This event is All Ages.
