International Beatleweek Returns to Liverpool 26 August–1 September
Europe's largest Beatles festival draws fans and tribute bands from 40+ countries to Liverpool for seven days of live music across the Cavern Club and city-centre venues, with new headings at historic Port Sunlight and the Epstein Theatre.
The International Beatleweek Festival will return to Liverpool from 26 August – 1 September 2026, once again welcoming fans from around the world to celebrate the music and legacy of The Beatles in the city where it all began. The event has been honoured as Event/Festival of the Year at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards, recognising the festival's global appeal and its vital role in celebrating Liverpool's rich musical heritage.
This is truly an international event with 70 bands from over 20 countries and fans from over 40. Live music is the focus of International Beatleweek. Not only do we have live music on the Cavern's three stages all day, every day (with a different band on every hour), but we also go out into the city and beyond to various venues so you can get a real feel of Liverpool and Liverpool City Region.
Special 2026 Highlights
2026 marks 25 years since the passing of George Harrison, and this special event brings together bands and solo artists from across the globe to celebrate his extraordinary musical legacy. International Beatleweek Festival is once again taking over the charming, quintessentially British village of Port Sunlight in 2026. Nestled on the Wirral peninsula, just across the Mersey, this historic model village becomes a living, breathing backdrop to the music that changed the world.
With the exception of Port Sunlight (public or private transport available) all venues are within a 10-15 minute stroll from The Cavern Club. Walking from venue to venue means you'll also have the chance to see the other attractions that Liverpool has to offer such as its two great cathedrals, The Three Graces on the waterfront, as well as hundreds of characterful, pubs, bars, and eateries.
