London Fashion Week Returns 17–21 September with Major Designers and Public Events

London Fashion Week (LFW) returns to the capital this month with five days of catwalk shows, designer presentations and fashion industry events. The British Fashion Council (BFC) has announced that London Fashion Week will take place from Thursday 17th to Monday 21st September 2026.

Major British fashion houses including McQueen (with designer Seán McGirr's London debut), Mulberry (under new Creative Director Christopher Kane), and established names including Burberry, Barbour, Emilia Wickstead, Erdem, Harris Reed, Richard Quinn, Roksanda and Simone Rocha will present collections.

What's Open to the Public?

Most runway shows are industry-led and invite-only, but ordinary visitors should look for public-facing City Wide Celebration activations, brand pop-ups, store events, exhibitions, and talks. Free events include London College of Fashion's Critical Costume exhibition in Stratford (9–12 September), Sir Paul Smith's talk at the Southbank Centre (10 September) about his book Threads, and the ICA's annual book fair (12–13 September).
