Berlin's Long Night of Museums Opens August 29: 75 Venues, 750 Events, Till 2 AM
On August 29, over 75 Berlin museums and exhibition spaces stay open until 2 a.m., offering 750 events ranging from exhibitions and guided tours to workshops and performances. This year's theme is "Crime in Berlin."
Berlin's most popular cultural night is back. To mark the 65th anniversary of the construction of the Berlin Wall, Berlin is commemorating the city's division with exhibitions, concerts, guided tours and talks with eyewitnesses. During the Long Night of Museums, numerous museums and exhibition venues in Berlin open their doors until late into the night. From 6 pm to 2 am, visitors can enjoy exhibitions, guided tours, workshops and talks at 75 venues, with a total of around 750 events.
The theme for 2026 is 'Crime in Berlin'. Tickets will be available from 3 August, and the programme will be published at the end of July. The event covers everything from major institutions like Museum Island's national galleries to smaller cultural spaces you may never have discovered otherwise.
