British Columbia's municipal elections will be held on October 17, 2026, with voters electing mayors, school board trustees, rural directors and city councillors.
Key Dates & Voting Information
In Ontario, election day is Monday, October 26 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with advance voting from Tuesday, October 6 to Sunday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. In Ottawa, special advance voting days run October 1–4 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Electors can verify, add, or amend their information on the voters' list online from September 1 to September 20.
