The 81st International Chopin Piano Festival runs August 7–15, 2026, in the mountain spa town of Duszniki-Zdrój in southwestern Poland's Kłodzko Valley. This is the world's oldest and most prestigious Chopin festival, held annually in the concert hall where the composer performed in 1826.

If you hold an EU residence card or longer-term permit, this is a must-see cultural experience and an excellent weekend escape from major cities. Non-Polish speakers will enjoy the pure instrumental performances; the master classes may be in Polish, so confirm language beforehand.
