“Let’s discuss … If you moved to another country tomorrow, what do you think would be the hardest part?” “Getting the visa and boarding the plane might feel like the biggest step. But what happens when you actually arrive? Suddenly, you’re learning how things work in a completely new environment. You might have to find somewhere to live, look for work, manage your expenses, make new friends, understand a different culture, figure out transportation… And then there’s the emotional side. Being away from the people and places you’re familiar with can be an adjustment too. But here’s the interesting part: Everyone experiences it differently. For some people, finding work might be the biggest challenge. For someone else, it could be making friends. For another person, it might simply be getting used to a completely different way of life. “So, if you were moving abroad, what do you think would be the hardest part for you?” “And if you’ve already lived abroad, what was the biggest challenge you faced when you first arrived?” “Most importantly, what helped you get through it?” “Please, share your experience or opinion in the comments. You never know who might be reading your answer and preparing for the same journey.”
